Swedish electronica artist Aimnbreak releases the album ”Introversy” where he feasts on the warmth and comfort of analog machines.

This music is purpose built for dreaming away while looking out a train window, and for winding down after a stressful day at work. It all started in one button push a year ago when Aimnbreak lost a whole debut album he just completed. In response to this crisis situation, Aimnbreak returned to ground zero: he locked himself into his studio with his analog synths in order to find his way back.

The resulting album contrasts ambient melodies with pushy tempos, backed by bubbly 303 basslines. Introversy oscillates between ambient, acid and electro, it is neither pure acid nor pure electro. Aimnbreak entirely stakes out his own path. In contrast to his earlier compositions, driven by complex rythmic patterns, Aimnbreak has opted for soft and acid-like 303 basslines as a rythmic instrument interacting with the beats.

With his new album Introversy, Aimnbreak follows up his debut-EP La Latina, which was frequently played at Swedish National Radio’s Elektroniskt i P2 and inspired by a week of mayhem in Madrid’s tripped-out party district La Latina.

The entire Introversy album is mixed with analogue tools and effects. In order to make the sounds, Aimnbreak has used semi-modular analog synths like Cwejman S1 MK2 and Macbeth Micromac-D as well as Elektron’s Analog Keys and Analog Rytm. He has also explored analog sounds with Roland Juno 106, Dave Smith’s Prophet 12 and Cyclone TT-303.
