The track "Technomad Communitas" seeks to convey the especially carnivalesque character of experience on dance floors and outdoor festivals. It is influenced by the retro sounds of 1980s New Wave, which trigger collective memories of "coming out" to the EDM dance floor. The track conveys the chaos and determination, and the revolutionary, infectuous and irresistible build up of comm-uni-tas.

Coming from a musical background as a vinylist DJ and club promoter, Gavana is committed to sound as the ultimately powerful means of communication. This despite, or perhaps because of, her background as a social anthropologist working by means of the written word. As an anthropologist, Gavana has explored electronic music scenes in Berlin, London, Stockholm and New York. Throughout her journeys in EDM cultures, Gavana has formed a number of collectives and collaborations. In one of her collaborations, Gavana remixes and remasters the music of her brother, Christos Gavanas, who died in a motorcycle accident in 2001.
